This parade was started in 1902 to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII and has continued to be a popular carnival ever since. The annual event, held in August, is one of Jersey's premier tourist attractions and draws thousands to its two Grand Day and Moonlight Parades. Live music, entertainment and a fun fair are also part of the carnival.
