Dating back to Norman times, the stately Samares Manor's grounds are home to an internationally renowned herb garden. The manor's courtyard contains a craft centre including a soap-making workshop, glass-sculpting, painting and woodturning. The manor gardens are tranquil, atmospheric and full of interest. Talks on the unusual plants and gardening occur each weekday. The manor offers guided tours of the home, children enjoy the Super Sleuth Nature Trail and the Jersey Rural Life and Carriage Museum, is now in its second successful year.
