The views from Corbière are stunning although the area is rocky and rugged and is not suitable for shipping or swimming. Facilities include bus service by route 12, washrooms, the Corbière Phare Pub and refreshment stands in the summer months. Corbière lighthouse is also off the coast.

The beach at Portelet Bay has soft golden sand and is very sunny. It is rarely crowded. Accessing the beach requires a walk down a set of stairs from the top of the surrounding cliffs. There is a beach café, bar and canoe hire on-site.

Stretching 5 miles across and covering the entire west coast, St Ouen’s Bay plays host to several international surfing competitions. For transportation, route 12a of the Jersey bus service runs alongside the bay.
